Posh v Wycombe (EFL Trophy Final)

I definitely saw him take aim.

Bona fide club legend now

He meant it as much as Ken Charlery's first crossed the line.

So, 100% obvs.

Take a bow Captain Fantastic.

Perhaps needs another thread, but is Burrows now a superb attacking left-back and one of the best in the league, or is he an attacking midfielder who we are wasting at left-back?

Either way, his development at left back over the last two years has been rapid.

Laughing Clap

This was my first thought.  No-one wants to win boring do they.
Absolutely zero doubt that the better team won. The late equaliser and later winner just made it more exciting.
Awful match but great result and way to win it. Good day out

The first one, because of your last point. That’s not to say that he wasn’t a liability at times early in the season, and last year, but no longer.

Buzzing!

Not the prettiest game, but who cares?

I thought Katongo, Kyprianou and Poku were the only real bright spots in a poor game, until young Harrison turned up and stole the show.

Need to win the next 6 now…
Kyprianou was my MoM until Burrows did his wonder kid stuff. I am finding Randall so effin frustrating, gets in decent positions but then takes an age to decide what to do next, just deliberates far to long.
Just got back, great day out overall. Absolutely knackered.

Bumped into Zakuani at the tube.

Frankie Kent was hanging around on Wembley way. More than happy to have photos taken with loads of fans. Good man.
What a lovely day. The main priority had to be getting the Wembley excitement over and done with before a potential trip there in 6 weeks, but as the game went on I was desperate to beat the fuckers.

Kyprianou was so cool all game, and I felt Randall did pretty well. But Burrows. My word. So so pleased for him. We were near his family and friends (a good foo old Spaldonians) and seeing what it meant to them all was beautiful.

Probably a coincidence but we were sat in the same row as Mick Harford and his entourage. He fucked off the second RJJ was hooked. Which may as well have been after 12 seconds.
We were just the more rounded, intelligent side. We kept possession incredibly well, we nullified their counter attacks, and patiently waited for fhe right chance. It didn't make for pretty, exciting football, but it won us the match and ultimately that's the point.
Very slow start but from about 30 minutes there was only one side in it.
So happy today. Well done boys. Well done crowd

For a short time we can be peterburrow

Well said, that's modern football, great when you are winning, frustrating until you do!  Or don't!
